The Liebster Award: 4

articles, awards, the liebster award / Friday, October 6th, 2017

Finally, my last Liebster Award blog post, it seems like a lifetime ago (only really the second to third week of August), I was nominated for 4 Liebster Awards in a week! I really felt the love!

It took about a month, but I got them all down.
I’d like to thank again Deanna from Deanna Reads Books for this nomination! Great minds must think a like, because I was going to nominate her for my first Liebster Award, but she beat me to the punch. Anyway, make sure you check out her awesome blog and my nominees.

The rules for the Liebster Award:

1 Thank the person who nominated you.
2 Answer the 11 questions they gave you.
3 Nominate 11 blogs.
4 Give them 11 questions to answer.

Now let us begin!

Questions for Me:

1. Who would be your fictional bestie?

My fictional bestie would most likely be Luna Lovegood or Hermione Granger from the Harry Potter series. I can’t choose just one of them. With Luna, i could probably talk about conspiracy theories and cryptoids. Then with Hermione, we could have long discussions about books.

2. Do you prefer hardbacks of paperbacks?

It depends more on the font and spacing of the lines, but typically hardcover.

3. What made you want to start a book blog?

I have come to realize this is a very popular question among the blogging community.

I started blogging to document my reading habits as I attempted to finish the BookRiot and PopSugar reading challenges like a virtual book diary to savor for later.

4. How do you keep up with your reading & writing posts? No seriously, I want to know!

Lol me too! In the beginning, it was easier for me, because I had read a lot of books before I started my blog so I focused more on the writing than actually reading. I would like to know how do people read 11-15 books a month and then promptly post their book reviews. I am months behind on everything.

5.What do you love most about the book blogging community?

I love the new people, I’ve met. Even though, I’m not social and chatty with other bloggers, I appreciate everyone!

6.What would you change about the community?

Since I haven’t been here too long, I’m not exactly sure what. Though, I would maybe suggest creating local blogger chapters so we could chill in real life.

7. What is your all time favorite book?

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K. Rowling

8. What books have you read outside of your comfort zone that you loved?

Leviathan by Scott Westerfield. I’m not usually into reading the Steampunk genre, but it’s an awesome read.

9.If you were transported into your favorite fictional world, what would you do

I’m still waiting for my Hogwarts letter.

10. What advice do you give to new bloggers?

My advice would be to take it easy, do not stress yourself out, you’re only human, because all you’re going to do is burn out fast. If you need to take time away from the blog, go take it.

11. What book would you take with you if you were stranded on a desert island?

I keep going back and forth on this question. At one point, I feel like having the Complete Works of Shakespeare or the Harry Potter series. It depends on my mood.
