For round 2 of the Liebster Award posts, I’d like to thank Laura from LauraConteur for this nomination. When I received a nomination from her, I was very surprised and elated, because Laura is one of the bloggers I look to for inspiration for my own blog. I highly recommend for everyone to check out her awesome blog!
The rules for the Liebster Award:
1. Describe yourself in 3 words!
Crazy book hoarder. I’m trying to lessen my book load as of late.
2.What would your dream job be and why? My dream job would be to work in a library, because I have an obsession with books and putting them in the right order.
3. If you could have any superpower in the world, what would it be?
Tough question, really the possibilities are endless with this one. Hmm…I’m going to say the ability to shape shift or maybe read minds. Yea, both will be rad to have.
4. How did you come up with your blog name? Is there any meaning behind it?
I was stressing about what to call my blog that was catchy, original, and bookish at the same time. Then, I talked to my younger brother and he suggested Paperback Beaches. His reasoning was I like books, but am also a beach.
5.What do you regret the most in your life?
The only thing I honestly regret is not really thinking out life after my undergraduate years. Like I learned a lot when I got a Master’s, but now I’m scrambling around for a big girl job.
6.What are you really good at?
I’m good at finding book sales and book stores. It’s like I have a bookdar.
7.If you could have only one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
French fries and gravy. ‘Nuff said.
8.Why do you blog?
I blog mostly for myself to learn new skills. Also, I like to inspire others. I wonder how that’s working out.
9.Who/what inspires you?
In life, my parents and brothers inspire me to be a better person. When it comes to blogging, I look to other successful book bloggers to see what they’re doing and inspired by them.
10.What makes you laugh?
Random things. If it’s stupidly clever, I laugh the hardest. I wish I could be more descriptive with this question.
11. What do you think makes a person beautiful?
I think actions really help some be beautiful in my mind. If they’re legitimately caring and helpful that makes an individual more beautiful to me.
